What you pay for your FB/Google services?

‎"If every company we deal with used our personal data the way Facebook, Google use our personal data every service in the world would be free. But we would then be in a "Police State". Except companies would be the "Police". Imagine if your phone company recorded all your conversations, analyzed it, learnt everything about you and served up context sensitive Ads. Phone calls would be free. But do we want them listening in our our calls? That is the privacy problem with FB/Google. We are paying for the service with our freedom"
